Addiction Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered outpatient counseling to individuals with opioid use disorders.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate medication-assisted treatment in collaboration with medical staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support relapse prevention efforts.
• Educate clients and families about treatment and recovery processes.
• Work within a multidisciplinary, mission-driven team to promote recovery, dignity, and community reintegration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in addiction counseling or related field.
• Knowledge of biopsychosocial assessment and treatment planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with medical and mental health professionals.
• Commitment to client-centered, recovery-oriented care.
