Addiction Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered outpatient counseling to individuals with opioid use disorders
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
• Coordinate medication-assisted treatment in collaboration with medical staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support relapse prevention efforts
• Educate clients and families about treatment and recovery processes

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and behavioral health principles
• Experience in counseling, assessment, and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to promoting dignity, recovery, and community reintegration
