About the role

AWS is building some of the largest distributed systems in the world. Amazon's database offerings like EMR, Athena, and Redshift are massively scaled services that make up a critical piece of the internet today.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).
• Help U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve unique technical problems.
• Work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services.
• Dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience.
• 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments.
• Experience in systems administration (Linux or Windows).
• Experience with automation, testing, or monitoring framework development.
• Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years of scripting language experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud computing technologies experience.
• 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years of work supporting procedures and methodologies for production computing environments experience.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies.
• Experience in networking and troubleshooting.

• Experience automating routine tasks.
