ADAS Test Driver- Over the Road

About the role

Drivers/Operators collect data using test vehicles, driving assigned routes in various states and cities, launching and returning to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Each vehicle will have both a driver and operator during testing, with roles swapped per project requirements.
• The operator handles data collection when not driving.
• Data must be uploaded daily or at other requested frequencies.
• Drivers/operators must copy data from one computer directory to another.
• Drivers/operators must manage data storage.
• Drivers/operators must report issues and perform simple support tasks for remote diagnosis (e.g., unplugging a clearly defined cable or pressing a switch).
• The driver must act in a responsible and respectful manner to avoid damaging the customer’s reputation.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel to assigned states and cities for testing.
• Ability to copy data between computer directories.
• Ability to manage data storage.
• Capability to report issues and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain a responsible and respectful demeanor while representing the customer.

Schedule

• Vehicles operate 6 days per week (Monday–Saturday) with 9‑hour shifts.
• Shift times are subject to change based on data collection needs.
• First shift: 6 am – 3 pm.
• Second shift: 4 pm – 1 am.
