Adaptive Fitness Group Exercise Instructor

Part Time, Hourly position with a pay range of $15.00-$25.00.

Requirements

• 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent
• YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification with experience or National certification
• Specialization in Adaptive Group Fitness
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for member service

Responsibilities

• Set an example of healthy living and personal fitness
• Prepare routines and/or choreography within YMCA standards
• Provide support and encouragement to members and reinforce healthy lifestyles
• Ensure the safety and well-being of members and staff; notify supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns
• Deliver excellent service to all members and address member needs or supply requests to maintain program quality
• Ensure safe movement and technique is utilized by every member in all classes
• Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and document any incidents
