Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid NC teaching certification or licensure for Special Education
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferred but not required
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various academic subjects, social skills, and life skills
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress, adjust instructional approaches, and ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
