Job Summary

Shift Managers lead shifts in independently owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants, ensuring great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for customers. Opportunities for growth and advancement exist within the franchisee organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift
• Monitor performance, ensuring adherence to McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service
• Monitor safety and security
• Train new employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to the unique demands of the job
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
