Acute Treatment Services Nurse (LPN/RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a clinically skilled and compassionate ATS Nurse (LPN/RN) to support patients through medically monitored withdrawal management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments upon admission
• Maintain documentation, medication administration records, and clinical logs
• Communicate with providers, counselors, and treatment team
• Provide patient education on medications and recovery supports
• Administer prescribed medications and document in the EHR
• Maintain safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Monitor vital signs, withdrawal scores (CIWA/COWS), and patient progress
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong assessment and clinical decisionmaking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable working with a diverse adult population

Education & Experience

• Nursing degree from an accredited institution (LPN or RN)
• Valid Massachusetts unrestricted nursing license (required)
• Experience in detox, behavioral health, or emergency care preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply
