About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician.

• Administer medical treatment and medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Provide recovery-focused care to clients.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of program operations.
• Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)/BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care; maintain current certification throughout employment.
• Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination and 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis.
• Acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
• If the position requires driving, valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance required at time of employment and maintained throughout employment.
• Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.

Schedule

• On-Call shifts available.
• AM, PM, and NOC shifts with days varying as needed.
• Shift differentials for hourly staff: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for NOC Shift.
• Weekend shift differentials for hourly staff: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend NOC Shift.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $65.45 - $80.85. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

The Santa Cruz County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked acute psychiatric inpatient program for adults aged 18+, diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI), experiencing a mental health emergency and requiring intensive treatment and support.
