Acute Care Physical Therapist (Pool/PRN) Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists to coordinate care. Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and post-discharge recommendations. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record. Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Required : BLS (Basic Life Support) Required : PT (Physical Therapy) License OR PT (Physical Therapy) – Eligible to Obtain OR PT (Physical Therapy) – Temporary, with licensure within 6 months Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Preferred : 1 year of Physical Therapist experience Location: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital - New Port Richey, FL Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Varies/Days Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely?
