Role Overview: The Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care within a hospital setting, supporting patient treatment and safety. They assist with clinical and operational processes to enhance patient outcomes, minimize hospitalizations, and ensure accurate documentation and data submission. Key Responsibilities Administer medications, perform physical assessments, and manage dialysis procedures including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and TPE.Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring safety and quality control.Complete water quality verification, infection control, and emergency procedures.Collaborate with healthcare teams, communicate patient assessments, and promote excellent patient care and customer service.Participate in staff training, team efforts, and quality improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in applicable state or compact, maintained in good standing.Preferred: 12+ months of nursing experience, especially in dialysis care.CPR certification, ability to pass color screening, basic computer skills, and effective communication skills.Ability to meet hospital and practice requirements, including background checks and orientation.
