About the role

As the Staff Nurse Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of nursing at Wilson Health. You'll partner with nursing leadership to support education, competency development, onboarding, and professional growth while serving as a trusted clinical resource for staff. This position offers the perfect balance of leadership and bedside nursing, allowing you to continue caring for patients while influencing clinical excellence across the department.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Mentor and coach nurses throughout their professional journey

Responsibilities

Step into direct patient care when needed to support the team

Requirements

  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum five years of hospital nursing experience
  • Minimum two years of Critical Care nursing experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Previous experience in staff education, orientation, or professional development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
