Acute Care RN - Full-Time

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process in medical and surgical step-down units. Responsible for patient advocacy, maintaining confidentiality, and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates care with other departments, ensuring adherence to standards, values, and mission.

• Performs nursing duties for assigned patients, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintains professional accountability and patient rights.
• Evaluates care provided by team members and collaborates across departments.
• Ensures compliance with licensing, certification, and physical requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing and movement.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in hospital or specialty units.
• BSN and additional certifications are advantageous.
