Acute Care Respiratory Therapist II

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care in an acute care setting
• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Manage ventilators and noninvasive respiratory support
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and deliver respiratory therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care
• Respond to emergency situations promptly
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatments

Qualifications & Skills

• Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience in adult and pediatric respiratory care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
