About the Role

The Acute Care Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs
• Planning and implementing individualized care
• Administering medications
• Performing dressing changes and wound care
• Monitoring vital signs
• Documenting patient conditions
• Educating patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Participating in performance improvement activities aligned with hospital mission and vision

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• Current licensure with the state nursing board
• BLS certification
• At least one year of RN experience (acute care experience preferred)
