Acute Care Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of medically complex patients
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional mobility and early ambulation
• Support safe discharge planning and patient education
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Document care and progress accurately in the EMR
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives in a patient-centered environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant physical therapy licensure and experience in acute hospital settings
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
