Acute Care NP/PA

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL and Hoffman Estates, IL

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP/PA to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established, stable and busy Intensivist service of 8 physicians and 8 Nurse Practitioners
• Minimum commitment: 12 shifts/28 days nights (6p-6a). Rotating weekends and holidays. Opportunity to pick up more shifts if desired
• Assessment and management of ICU patients, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, supporting the rapid response team when called
• Critical care experience is required; high acuity
• Procedural experience is a plus; training available for procedures
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Excellent office support staff

Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with at least 2 years experience preferred but will consider new graduates. Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date (credentials verified by local staff credentialing office)
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) credential preferred
• Master’s degree in Nursing required

Pay

Base salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00
