About the role

The Pharmacist provides safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing evidence-based care plans focused on patient outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care tailored to specific patient care areas
• Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders, review patient medication profiles, and ensure appropriate therapy
• Monitor drug safety, efficacy, and interactions; suggest formulary alternatives based on clinical parameters
• Consult with medical staff on drug therapy issues and review lab results for treatment optimization
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and discharge medication consultations to patients
• Assist in calculating dosages, verifying orders, and preparing specialized medications using aseptic techniques
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and interns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with medical teams to resolve pharmacy service issues and contribute to policy updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
