Acupuncturist/UKHC

About the role

The acupuncturist for Integrative Medicine & Health provides clinical services to patients with the goal of assisting patients achieve their health and wellness goals, education to the staff and community, and develops/participates in research with acupuncture and other integrative medicine modalities. Additionally, the acupuncturist will perform and assist in administrative functions such as reporting, marketing and back-up registration/cash collection functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Screens and diagnoses patients appropriately
• Creates a treatment plan independently or with other healthcare providers
• Evaluates treatment outcomes and maintains health records
• Performs and assists in administrative functions such as reporting, marketing and back-up registration/cash collection functions as needed

Requirements

• Acupuncture License and national board certification
• Standing for long periods of time, ability to sit at computer, walk for an extended period of time, ability to perform duties of acupuncturist
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
