Acupuncturist - Supplemental

Role Overview The Licensed Acupuncturist provides acupuncture treatments to inpatient and outpatient populations, ensuring adherence to Florida licensing requirements. Key Responsibilities Review medical records, conduct health assessments, and diagnose conditions.Obtain informed consent and develop treatment plans.Perform traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Five Element acupuncture techniques.Maintain strict infection control and clean needle techniques.Discuss treatment plans, recommendations, and resources with patients. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited school of Oriental or Traditional Chinese Medicine or licensed physician trained in acupuncture.Active license to practice in Florida, with certification from NCCAOM preferred.Minimum three years of acupuncture experience; completion of continuing education annually.Full set of fingerprints submitted for criminal background check.Knowledge of infection control and traditional Asian medicine practices. Additional Information This PRN position involves working on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional shifts as needed. The role does not include benefits eligibility and offers a competitive hourly rate.
