Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid in managing the quality of the actuarial data warehouse
• Analyze statistical models
• Create and present statistics to support the actuary's recommendations for insurance plans
• Support actuarial audits and provide necessary records and documents to auditors
• Train new actuarial staff
• Provide details of financial transactions to the finance department and/or client's finance teams

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Experience preparing database and statistical models
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
• Passtwo or more actuarial exams
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL
• Intermediate proficiency with PowerBI
• Novice+ proficiency with Python and R

Pay and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Additional compensation may include variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonuses based on individual performance and company performance.
