Actuarial Associate II

About the role

The Retirement Actuarial Financial Reporting team is looking for an actuary to join the team. This position will play a key role in our deferred annuity products STAT/GAAP/Tax reserve setting, and other process enhancement projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annually valuation process for deferred annuity products
• Prepare actuarial reports prepared by junior staff and provide timely and comprehensive analysis
• Aid in internal and external audit inquiries
• Maintain and enhance deferred annuity valuation model

Who You Are

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background including college level mathematics
• 2 to 4 years of annuity related actuarial experience
• 3 to 5 actuarial exams
• Proven ability to adhere to due dates and strong sense of accountability
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with Python, Snowflake and/or other actuarial modeling software
• High school diploma required

Compensation

Salary Range: $87,900 – $146,500 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs
