Actuarial Analyst II

This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. How You Will Make An Impact

• Pricing Strategies: Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies/studies to maintain competitive and profitable products in the Individual and Small Employer Commercial Markets.
• Rating Models & Guidance: Build and maintain rating models; provide analytical insights and guidance to ensure accurate pricing for existing products and potential new market entries.
• Special Pricing Projects: Collaborate on special projects to support growth strategies.
• Regulatory Support: Work with internal teams and state/federal regulatory agencies to prepare rate filings and address policy updates, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects.
• Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Pay

For candidates working in person or virtually in California, Colorado, Illinois, or New York, the salary range for this specific position is $84,744 to $138,672.

Schedule

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
