Activity Transport Driver

About the role

DATTCO currently has full-time and part-time Activity Transport Driver openings in our Coach & Tour Group located in Watertown, CT.

DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company with over 2,500 employees located throughout New England. Founded in 1924, DATTCO entered the motor coach charter business in 1964 with the New York World’s Fair. DATTCO is New England’s largest passenger transportation company. Our Coach & Tour Group operates 200 vehicles and drives 6 million miles annually.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers to sporting events, weddings and other destinations.
• Safely & efficiently navigate routes that vary by customer need.
• Auxiliary passengers.
• Moving & handling of luggage.
• Inspect vehicle before and after shift to ensure operational safety.
• Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Exemplify excellent customer service through respectful, courteous, cooperative, and polite treatment of others.

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement.
• Connecticut license holders will also require an F endorsement.

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay

Estimate annual compensation of $60,000-75,000.

Schedule

Driver is home every night but has the option of working in motorcoach as well when available.
