Position Overview
The Activity Security Representative I provides multi-disciplined security support to a customer's facility and organization. This position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Control and Classified Material Support
- Perform classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Affiliate with maintaining a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
- Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
- Perform destruction of classified materials.
- Process magnetic media for accountability.
- Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
- Maintain daily logs for administrative functions associated with document control.
- Affiliate with processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
- Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.
- Security Administration and Access Control
- Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing.
- Affiliate with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
- Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
- Affiliate with preparing facility access control badges.
- Conduct entry and exit inspections.
- Affiliate with maintaining facility access control entry systems, including visitor control.
- Affiliate with data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
- Affiliate with maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.
- Security Programs and Administrative Support
- Follow and enforce the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provide support for security awareness and education programs.
- Affiliate with miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
Qualifications
- Experience: 0-2 years of related experience required. Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience. Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
- Certifications: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience. Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience. Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years. One year of experience applies for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years.
- Clearance: TS/SCI clearance required. Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
