Employment Type Full time Shift Description: Full Time, Onsite at PACE of Montgomery County Pay Range: $18-$21/hr Position Summary The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of residents. This role creates meaningful experiences that promote resident participation, independence, and quality of life while fostering a positive community environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar that meets the interests and needs of residents.Lead group and individual activities, including recreational, educational, social, and wellness programs.Encourage resident participation and engagement in community events.Coordinate outings, special events, and holiday celebrations.Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and program documentation.Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to identify program opportunities and preferences.Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and inclusive manner.Assist with resident communication and promote upcoming events throughout the community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Services, or a related field preferred.One year of experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or customer service preferred.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to lead groups and engage individuals with diverse interests and abilities.Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Must be able to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
