About the role
The Activity Coordinator, Memory Care position is available at Sea Bluffs, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. This position is located in Dana Point, CA and offers morning shift work from Tuesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area.
- Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes, and other such activities.
- Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
- Able to drive Community vehicles.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
- Requires current Class C driver license, prefer Class B.
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).

$24.00 - $26.00 depending on experience.
