Activity Assistant Driver

Job Description

Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for facilitating the planned activities in a retirement community for Independent living Seniors. Involving everything from leading exercise classes and sing-alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes and reading. Flexibility, dependability, self starter and working well with others a must!

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter
• Food Handlers Permit, or be able to obtain/maintain a current permit within 2 days of employment date
• MAST permit, or be able to obtain/maintain a current permit within 2 days of employment date
• SERV-Safe permit a plus, but not required
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis

Driver Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check including a motor vehicle check
• Driver must be able to drive a car and a small 16 person mini bus, with W/C lift
• (CDL Not required)
• Will be responsible for helping to coordinate and oversee that all needs for vehicle are taken care of per company standard
