Your responsibilities will include: Plan and facilitate fun, engaging, and therapeutic activities that promote resident well-being, relaxation, and social connectionSupport the Activity Director with assessing residents' interests and developing activities that align with their preferences and care plansHelp plan and carry out activities, special events, and programsPrepare and distribute activity calendars and other communication materialsEncourage residents to participate while creating a welcoming and inclusive environmentBuild positive relationships with residents and their familiesDocument resident participation and activities appropriatelyPerform other duties as assigned by management Who We're Looking For At least 1 year of job-related experience, preferably in long-term careExperience working with seniors is a plus, but other relevant experience is welcome!Creative, enthusiastic, and dependableA positive team player who enjoys connecting with othersA self-starter who can encourage and motivate residents to participateCompassionate and patient with a genuine interest in improving residents' quality of lifeSomeone who values individualized care and meaningful connections Why You'll Love Being Part of Our Team At Trinidad Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we believe meaningful activities are an important part of quality resident care.
