Tasks
- Helps create and implement planned, fulfilling activities for participants.
- Provides individual care and supervision to participants.
- Safely transports participants to and from the program.
- Escorts adult day services participants to and from vehicles.
- Supports and supervises participants.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing personal care, activities, or social/recreational programs.
- Able to understand written and oral instructions.
- A high school graduate or have successfully completed a GED.
- Pass Criminal Background Check with no disqualifying offenses.
- A valid Ohio Driver's License with at least 2 years driving experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army standards.
- A signed statement from a licensed physician stating no medical or physical condition that may impede safe driving, passenger assistance, emergency treatment, or the health and welfare of the participant or general public.
- Pass drug and alcohol screenings.
