Activity Assistant

About the role

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Able to read and write in English, able to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.
• Capable of extended periods of standing and bending.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.

Responsibilities

To encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.

To maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.

Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.

Complete initial activity interest assessment

Aid the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments

Requirements
