Activity Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and directing activity programs that meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Assist with overseeing all aspects of the Activity Department.
• Participate in resident care conferences.
• Assist with developing new activity programs to keep up with trends and industry standards.
• Ensure residents’ emotional and social wellbeing and their comfort and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Prior Activity Aide and/or Assistant Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• One (1) year of experience in a director or managerial role.
• NCCAP Certification is preferable (but willingness to invest in the right candidate).
