Activity Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors unit activities, content of programs and independent activities
• Implements individual and group activities; supervise residents’ use of all equipment and materials and takes necessary precautions in implementing the program
• Oversee documentation of resident participation assessment, MDS, care plan and progress on the appropriate forms
• Works with activities staff to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agencies and volunteer groups

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
