Activity Assistant

As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by facilitating engaging activities and promoting socialization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings, to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Encourage socialization and community building among residents through group activities, events, and one-on-one interactions
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the activities director and other team members to ensure seamless implementation of activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of activities, including attendance and resident feedback

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or similar environment
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
