Activity Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team at Mountainside Nursing Home. As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and implementing various activities for our residents, promoting their physical, social, and mental well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement various activities for residents, including physical, educational, and social programs
• Oversee residents engaged in scheduled activities, applying your knowledge of diagnoses and conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
• Involve residents and their families in planning activity programs when possible
• Cookordination activities with other departments as necessary
• Willing to take residents out for smoking breaks
• Work nights and weekends as needed
