About the role

The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordination of activities within the facility, considering the needs, interests, and abilities of all residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing activities that cater to the diverse needs of residents.
  • Engage with residents and families to understand their preferences and interests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and inclusive community environment.
  • Document activities and track progress towards achieving facility goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous nursing home experience is preferred.
  • Team-oriented and driven personality.
  • Excited about caring for residents and building a positive facility culture.
