About the role
As an Activity Aide/CNA, you will maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing companionship, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts, and accompanying residents on outings. Your role ensures residents receive the high standard of care they expect at Avantara Evergreen Park.
Responsibilities
- Interact with and provide companionship to residents.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities.
- Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, and organizing games and crafts.
- Accompany residents on activities outside of the facility.
- Ensure residents' emotional and social wellbeing needs are met through attention to detail and care.
Requirements
- Unencumbered State of Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Illinois Accredited CNA training course.
- Prior Activities experience required.
