About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time, days/evening Activity Aide. The position requires working every other weekend. Same Day Pay is available!
Responsibilities
- Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
- Interact with and provide companionship to residents.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities.
- Schedule movies, plan parties, organize games, crafts, and accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- An unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course (preferred).
- Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting (preferable but not required).
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Active involvement with senior residents.
Skills
- Knowledge of resident emotional and social wellbeing needs.
- Attention to detail.
