Activity Aide

About the role

We are currently searching for Activity Aides to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Avantara North. Responsibilities

• Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of our residents.
• Interact with and provide companionship to our residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities.
• Schedule movies, plan parties, organize games, crafts, and accompany residents on activities outside of the facility.

Requirements

• A minimum of a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not required. We are willing to invest in the right candidate!
