About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time, days/evening Activity Aide. The position requires working every other weekend. Same Day Pay is available!
Responsibilities
- Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of residents
- Interact with and provide companionship to residents
- Encourage residents to participate in activities
- Schedule movies
- Plan parties
- Organize games, crafts, and other activities
- Accompany residents on activities outside the facility
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- An unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course (preferred)
- Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting (preferable but not required)
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Active involvement with senior residents
