About the role
The Grove of La Grange Park is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility that has earned the prestigious Gold Seal of Approval® Certification for Post-Acute Care from The Joint Commission. Responsibilities
- Maintain the emotional and social wellbeing of residents through companionship and participation in activities.
- Schedule and plan movies, parties, and organize games and crafts.
- Accompany residents on activities outside of the facility as needed.
Requirements
As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education is required. Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not mandatory. We are willing to invest in the right candidate.
Qualifications
Applicants must be able to work both days and weekends, and evenings are required.

Knowledge, skills, and attention to detail are essential to ensuring residents' emotional and social wellbeing needs are met.
