Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Aide to help enrich the lives of our residents. This role plays a vital part in creating engaging, meaningful daily experiences that promote social interaction, enjoyment, and overall well-being. As an Activity Aide, you will help bring joy and connection to our residents through thoughtfully planned programs and one-on-one interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate group and individual activities based on residents’ interests, needs, and care plans
- Aid in developing and maintaining the activity calendar
- Encourage resident participation in programs and social events
- Support Resident Council and coordinate monthly meetings
- Complete required documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Follow all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
