About the Role

Bring fun, energy, and compassion to our residents! Complete Care at Care Age is looking for an energetic, fun-loving Activities Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy connecting with people, creating meaningful experiences, and bringing smiles to residents, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist with scheduled activities and programs
• Engage residents and encourage participation
• Monitor residents during activities and communicate concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain activity attendance calendars
• Help decorate the facility for holidays and special events
• Support the Activities Director and Administrator with additional duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Energetic personality and ability to keep up in a busy environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend, push, and pull
• Every other weekend availability required
