About the role

We are seeking a creative, personable, and reliable Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator to join our Life Enrichment department. This casual-status role offers variable hours with no set schedule—ideal for picking up shifts and covering gaps as needed. You’ll enrich lives by assisting in planning and implementing activities that meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, including holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities
• Maintain confidentiality regarding resident status and medical history
• Exercise patience and tact when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and engaging environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Genuine interest in working with older adults, including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Experience with social or recreational activities programs (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs

Pay

Starts at $19.89 per hour, with potential for more based on experience.
