What you will be doing
- Create and lead meaningful group and individual activities that celebrate each resident's strengths, spark engagement, and support their personal journey of recovery and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with the Therapy, Care and Nursing teams to ensure activities support each resident's rehabilitation journey.
- Lead on developing partnerships within the community and support residents to explore new experiences and engage with local activities that enrich their lives.
- Inspire and encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements, no matter how big or small to help build resident confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of personal accomplishment.
- Lead and inspire colleagues across all departments to embrace a positive and creative living environment.
- Build strong relationships with resident's, their families and colleagues to create a positive, inclusive environment.
- Learn about resident's hobbies and interests and work with colleagues and families to ensure residents can keep doing what they love.
- Sources meaningful resources and plan community-based experiences that reflect resident's interests and aspirations, while nurturing links with local groups and venues to ensure each activity promotes inclusion, confidence and personal growth.
