Weekend Activities Assistant - Part Time

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Pay

$17/hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Long-term Care Experience Preferred
• Positive attitude and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for enriching the lives of seniors

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk frequently
• Push/pull equipment
• Assist with activities
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed

What You'll Do

• Assist the Activity Director in creating and leading fun, interactive programs for residents
• Plan and conduct individual, small group, and large group activities
• Encourage participation in crafts, games, music, reading, hobbies, and special events
• Aid with resident outings and transportation as needed
• Help develop monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records
• Provide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who are bed-bound or prefer quieter engagement
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and visitors
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Activity Department
