Activities Associate - Seasonal - WorldMark Wolf Creek Resort

About the role

As an Activities Associate, you’ll organize and lead recreational activities to help guests enjoy their vacations and create lifelong memories. In coordination with the Activities Supervisor, you’ll operate all activity-related areas such as the movie theater, fitness center, pool and cabana, banquet rooms, and tanning rooms.

This role at Wolf Creek is very active and includes skimming pools, ponds, weeding, leaf blowing, snow shoveling decks, sport courts and park pathways, cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and windows, as well as washing, drying, and folding towels. You’ll also lead arts, crafts, dance parties, and karaoke with guests.

Must be a people person who loves helping guests enjoy their vacations and enjoys staying active.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards.
• Manage a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures (when applicable).
• Attend and complete required resort and company trainings.
• Handle all safety issues and incidents immediately.

Requirements

• Creativity and customer obsession.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Depending on the location, one or more of these certifications or ability to become certified: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card.
