Activities Assistant - PT Weekends - Prairie View Gardens
Job Summary
The Assisted Living (AL) Activities Assistant strives to improve the quality of life for patients/residents by providing appropriate, meaningful activities and interventions on a one-on-one and/or group basis. This includes administering the monthly activity calendar, eliciting resident input into activity planning, and ensuring activities are well-organized and upbeat.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Experience in social services or creative activities preferred
- Experience in geriatrics preferred
- Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics
- Possesses a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) certification or is currently enrolled in a healthcare-related program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required based on location
- Must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy

- Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.50
- Pay Info: $2,000 Sign On Bonus Available
- Shift: Weekend
- Job Schedule: Part time
- Weekly Hours: 20.00
