Activities Assistant (Part Time)

About the role

This position is part-time and works a day shift. The role plays a key role in patient satisfaction and well-being by assisting the Live Enrichment Director in planning and executing activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Live Enrichment Director in planning and executing activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility.
• Makes one-on-one visits with patients and encourages participation in various activities.
• Interacts with volunteers.
• May be required to transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience in healthcare/patient activities (preferred)
• Have good communication skills.
• Possess a current driver’s license and good driving record
• Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Be professional in appearance and behavior

Exposure Category

Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.
