Activities Assistant Part Time
About the role
We are seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join our team at Greenwood Connections in Menahga, MN. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and has a creative and energetic approach to planning and leading activities.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development and implementation of activity programs that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents
- Leading group activities such as games, crafts, and exercise classes
- Engaging with residents one-on-one to provide personalized interaction and support
- Assisting in the setup and cleanup of activity areas
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
Requirements
We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Previous experience working with seniors or in a recreational therapy setting is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a genuine passion for working with older adults.
